Upgrading of 57 km Samtredia-Grigoleti road will be implemented in 4 lots. Tender procedures for LOT I (11.5 km long section) were completed in 2013. Construction works will enter into active phase in 2014. Four-lane asphalt-concrete road with a new alignment would be constructed at respective section.

Length of the section to be constructed – 18.5 km.

Length of the section to be constructed – 12 km.

The construction project of the third lot of Samtredia-Grigoleti envisages construction of four-lane asphalt concrete road, 9 bridge crossings, 2 interchanges and 65 rectangular pipes (overpasses, field and cattle passes).

The third section of Samtredia-Grigoleti road will pass through the city of Lanchkhuti and villages of the Lanchkhuti Municipality.

Length of the section to be constructed – 9.5 km.

The project envisages the construction of the four-lane asphalt concrete road with the new direction on a 9.5 km section of road.

• 42 reinforced concrete underpasses and culverts
