On the 32nd km of the Sajavakho-Chokhatauri-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti highway of internal state importance, temporary bridge arrangement works are being carried out intensively. Works are ongoing 24 hours a day.

At the same time, design works are actively being carried out, after the completion of which the construction of the new bridge will begin. Until the construction of the new bridge is completed, traffic will be through a temporary bridge and bypass road.

On September 11, on the 32nd km of the Sajavakho-Chokhatauri-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti highway, the existing bridge and roadway were damaged, and all types of vehicle traffic are prohibited. During the construction period of the temporary bridge, light vehicles are moving using the local road (Buknari-Nagomari bypass) and the movement of trailer and semi-trailer vehicles and trucks is possible using the internationally important Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti highway.
