On the 32nd km of the Sajavakho-Chokhatauri-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti highway of internal state importance, the works for the construction of a temporary bridge have started. At this stage, the temporary bridge construction and special equipment are being mobilized. In parallel, the project team is working on the damaged section and after their conclusion, the bridge restoration work will begin. Heavy equipment is also mobilized at the site.

On September 11, on the 32nd km of the Sajavakho-Chokhatauri-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti highway, the existing bridge and roadway were damaged, and all types of vehicle traffic are prohibited. During the construction period of the temporary bridge, light vehicles will drive using the local road (Buknari-Nagomari bypass) and the movement of trailer and semi-trailer vehicles and trucks is possible using the internationally important Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti highway.
