The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is carrying out rehabilitation works on the 9-km section of the Kutaisi (Martyrs)-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road. The works are in an active phase, and at this stage, land excavation, asphalt-concrete coating and construction of artificial structures are in progress.

Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road connects Tkibuli and Ambrolauri. The arrangement of the road infrastructure on the mentioned road is important for the development of the socio-economic and tourism potential of the region.

The project envisages complete rehabilitation of the 9-kilometer road. Asphalt-concrete pavement, artificial structures, connections to local roads, entrances to residents' yards and road signs will be arranged.

The project is financed with 8 million GEL from the state budget. The works are planned to be completed by the end of this year.

Rehabilitation works are carried out by the Georgian company "New Road" LLC.
