We would like to respond to the story saturated with lies and slander aired by one of the TV companies, which is built on lies, distorted facts, groundless, unarguable and often illogical arguments. Completely unsubstantiated serious accusations have only the purpose of creating a negative attitude in the public and not of spreading verified and correct information.

Let's start with the fact that large-scale infrastructure projects are underway in the country, with the support of the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and other international financial institutions.

The Government of Georgia announces an open, public international tender for all projects financed by international financial institutions, in which any company from any country that meets the tender requirements can participate.

All tenders announced by the state for the implementation of projects financed by international financial institutions are carried out in compliance with the strictly written requirements and rules of the financing financial institution, according to the principle of international free and competitive bidding.

All stages of the tender process, starting with the tender requirements and ending with the selection of bidders, are agreed with the sponsoring organization. In addition, the financing organization itself produces the so-called black list, that is, the list of sanctioned companies, and the verification of the companies included in it is also part of the procurement procedure. Therefore, such a company winning an international tender is completely absurd.

As for the tender proposal, it is evaluated according to the price of the bidder, qualification and experience of the bidder and other technical parameters.

It should also be noted that in recent years, highly qualified American and European companies, which are leaders of the international market in this field, have won the international tender announced for the purpose of preparing a detailed project. Also, European companies participate and win the international tenders for construction project supervision. Accordingly, the execution of large projects financed by international institutes, including quality, is supervised by European companies.

European companies strictly supervise and control not only the quality of work, but also other contractual conditions. Any violation will be accompanied by an adequate response, provided for in the agreement. In addition, each contract is provided with a warranty period.

Moreover, the Chinese company CEFC does not participate in any road infrastructure project.

It must be noted that the information regarding the salaries of the employees on the projects is also a deliberate lie, which is confirmed by the contradictory data used in the story itself. The projects, depending on their scale, employ workers of various professions and qualifications. Accordingly, their remuneration is also different, however, in any case - corresponding to the labor market of Georgia.

It is very unfortunate that the information used in the story has traditionally not been verified with state agencies, since the only purpose of its preparation is to mislead the audience and discredit the government and state agencies.
