On the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road, in particular, on the 19km-56km and 57km-132km sections of the road, traffic safety improvement works are underway with funding from the state budget.

Within the framework of the project, the construction of approximately 80,000 meters of curved metal poles is being organized on the road network in accordance with EN 1317 European standards.

Also, the work of setting up the outdoor lighting network, worth about 6 million GEL, is underway on the Gori-Tbilisi section, which is planned to be completed by the end of the year.

The Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is conducting work on improving the quality of road infrastructure within the framework of the "2022-2023 Road Safety Action Plan" of the Government of Georgia.

The total cost of both projects is up to 19 million GEL and the works will be completed by the end of 2022.
