The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia will soon complete the rehabilitation works of the 5 km section of the Tsirnekhi-Kvatakhevi road.

The rehabilitation section is located in the Kaspi municipality and leads from the village of Tsinarekh to the monastery complex of Kvatakhevi. The road was dirt and there was never an asphalt surface on it. Its proper functioning is particularly important for the population and the guests of the monastery complex.

The rehabilitation project provided for the arrangement of road pavement and artificial structures. Also, the rehabilitation of the existing bridge over the Kavtura river. Connections to local roads, parking lot, traffic signs were also organized and road marking works are in progress.

The project was financed from the state budget and its value is 3.6 million GEL.
