Rehabilitation works of the access road to Bethany Church are being actively carried out by the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

The 7.1 km road rehabilitation section will pass through the village of Kveseti and go to the Betania Monastery, which also joins the Tbilisi-Kojori-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road.

As part of the rehabilitation project, it is planned to improve the technical parameters of the road; Arranging road clothes; Repair of existing dormitories and artificial structures and arrangement of new structures; Widening of the land vacancy and the roadway; Marking of joints and carriageway; Installation and fencing of road signs.

The rehabilitation section of the road was dirt and made it difficult for vehicles to move. The works will ensure safe and comfortable movement of cars, as well as pedestrians and vacationers.

The project is financed from the state budget and its cost is up to 6 million GEL.
