The final event of the educational environmental project was held in Kvesheti school.

As part of the Kvesheti-Kobi new road project, there is an "Eco Club" in the Kvesheti school. Participants were given souvenirs and diplomas.

In total, about 20 children, who are V-XI grades of Kvesheti school, took part in the competition.

"We are glad that most of the students of Kvesheti public school were involved in the project. They actively attended and listened to lectures on environmental protection, participated in various activities or trainings, were on an excursion and saw how the tunnel drilling machine TBM works. "It was quite impressive for them. Such information-educational projects are important and necessary for the correct information of the population about the environment, current projects and planned innovations," - said Gegi Sofadze, Executive Director of "Eco View".

The main goal of the educational environmental project is to properly inform and raise awareness of the population of Khadi Valley on infrastructural and environmental issues.

In total, 5 lectures were given to the seniors of Kvesheti school within the framework of the project. There was also a planting action and an excursion to the construction sites of the new Kvesheti-Kobi road, including the construction of the largest, 9 km long tunnel. At the end of the lecture course, the school students participated in a drawing competition.

Together with the representatives of "Ecokhedvi", the Ecoclub has developed a one-year action plan, which includes care for landscaping of the surrounding area of ​​Kvesheti school, cleaning actions for the school yard and surrounding areas, organizing intellectual games on environmental issues, etc.
