The complete rehabilitation of the 21-kilometer Zestaponi-Kitskhi-Kharagauli secondary road is being carried out in an intensive mode.

Complete rehabilitation of the road includes laying of two-layer asphalt-concrete pavement. At this stage, asphalt-concrete pavement and drainage pipes, old asphalt-concrete milling and laying of coarse-grained hot asphalt-concrete pavement are underway.

According to the project, connections with local roads and entrances to the yards of the population will be arranged; The carriageway will be marked and demarcated and road signs will be installed.

This road connects Zestaponi and Kharaguli with the shortest distance and, consequently, the residents of the municipalities will no longer have to use the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road to connect with each other.

Road rehabilitation works are financed from the state budget and its cost is 14 288 887 million. GEL.
