In Sagarejo Municipality, a public hearing on the Resettlement Action Plan and Stakeholder Engagement Plan was held within the framework of the planned Sagarejo-Badiauri road section project.

The length of the road from the east of Sagarejo (Tokhliauri crossing) to Badiauri section is 17.04 km. This section is an integral part of the Tbilisi-Sagarejo-Sagarejo-Bakurtsikhe road improvement project (Construction Lot 3)

The main purpose of the public hearing is to enable those affected by the project to get acquainted with the project and to be informed about issues such as: procurement and compensation of land, real estate and / or source of income within the project, grievance redressal mechanism, project impact monitoring and Mitigation measures, stakeholder engagement and awareness raising, ways of receiving and delivering information, and more.
