According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to conducted cleaning works, traffic resumed under the special mode at the road leading to Tusheti. In particular, traffic at km12-km72 (Lechuri-Omalo) section of Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo secondary road is permissible only for off-road vehicles, while the movement is restricted for other vehicles.

Traffic at km 1-km11 (Pshaveli-Lechuri) section is free for all transport means.

The road leading to Tusheti is closed every year in autumn and opens in late spring.
