According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and National Environmental Agency, level of avalanche danger is high at Dariali Customs Checkpoint- Larsi (neutral territory) section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road, therefore traffic at mentioned section is restricted for all types of transport.

Traffic at km93-km135 Gudauri(Posta)- Dariali Customs checkpoint section is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other vehicles.

According to the National Environmental Agency, traffic at Mleta-Gudauri and Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi sections is allowed in nonstop mode. 

According to National Environment Agency, traffic at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is allowed only through avalanche galleries. Mentioned traffic mode will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
