Rehabilitation of 10km Dzedzileti-Gordi-Nogha road and construction of bridge crossings over Tskhenistkali River and Metchia River is progressing in Khoni municipality. The mentioned road will connect Khoni and Tskaltubo municipalities with the shortest route.

An afore-said project is of significant importance also from touristic perspective. The travel time and distance from Prometheus cave to Okatse canyon. The mentioned route of these two tourist-popular destinations will be 20km, instead of current 60km. The project is planned to be completed by end of 2020.  

Apart from that, the Roads Department of Georgia is conducting periodic maintenance works for 14km Matkhoji-Khidi-Gorda-Kinchkha road (km1-km14) in the municipality of Khoni.
