Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze and Chairman of Roads Department George Seturidze met with the representatives of the European Investment Bank (EIB) Mission.

Under the Georgian Transport Communication Project, the European Investment Bank allocated 250 million Euros. At the first stage within the mentioned project, construction of Grigoleti-Choloki 14 km road section is planned. At the next stage, construction-rehabilitation of different international and secondary sections will be carried out.

During the meeting, two sides discussed ongoing projects and reviewed new planned projects.

 At present, the European Investment Bank finances construction of 4 sections of Samtredia-Grigoleti and 5.8 km section of Zemo Osiauri-Chumateleti.
