Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Based on information provided by National Environmental Agency, Avalanche hazard, caused by intense snows, resulted in closing of Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road  for all mode of transport.

Following restrictions are established on different sections of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road:

• Due to clear ice and intense snow traffic on Aragvispiri- Gudauri-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats.  for other vehicles movement is free at Aragvispiri-Mleta and Kobi-Larsi section.

Traffic at Mleta-Gudauri(Posta) section is permitted by application of antiskid chains.

• Traffic is free for vehicles with two or main axis at Aragvispiri-Gudauri and Kobi-Larsi section
• Stoppage of vehicles is not allowed during movement along Stepantsminda- Larsi section.
