Young actors from Telavi theatre got involved in social campaign “Do not break the road rules”. Under the campaign, in order to increase awareness, special flyers and leaflets prepared on road safety issues were distributed to drivers and citizens in places of public gathering by the actors and representatives of nongovernmental organization - the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”. 

“Road Safety Awareness and Education Campaign” of Roads Department in Kakheti region is being implemented with the World Bank’s financial support and aims at increasing awareness of various public groups and their involvement in improvement of road safety.

503 people were injured and 57 people died in road accidents in Kakheti region during 2014.
