Chairman of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Vazha Panchulidze observed progress of rehabilitation works at km 16-km22 section of secondary Baghdati-Vani-Dapnari road.

At present, arrangement of asphalt-concrete pavement and ditches are underway.

Design considers: arrangement of road bed, two layer asphalt-concrete pavement, culverts and ditches, entrances to the private yards, junctions, bust stops and enclosed bus stops; installation of new road signs and provision of horizontal marking. Existing bridge over the river Fereta was also rehabilitated.

Section to be rehabilitated is located in west Georgia, in the territory of Vani municipality. It will run through the villages: Zeindari, Gora, Kvedagora, Amaghleba and other. Respective road has not been rehabilitated since 80ies.

Project is financed from the state budget. Contract value is GEL 2 536 200. Works are implemented by “ Sakmilsadeni” Ltd. 60 persons are employed by the project.
