Periodic repair works of km1-km5 section of Zestaponi-Baghdati secondary road are carried out in Imereti region. Today, works progress was observed by representatives of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and local self-government.

At this stage, construction of asphalt-concrete pavement and shoulders are underway.

Project envisages repair of asphalt-concrete pavement of Kvirila Bridge, painting of railings and upgrading of damaged metal fence. Also, repair of concrete ditches, arrangement of junctions and entrances to the private yards, repair of bus stops and enclosed bus stops, repair of culverts, arrangement of road signs and horizontal marking of the carriageway. 

Respective section is located in Zestaponi Municipality, namely in the territory of the village Pirveli Sviri.

Project is financed from the state budget and contractual value is GEL 1 652 000 00. Works are implemented by “Arnabi 21” Ltd. 50 persons are employed by the project.
