As we informed the public in June of this year, on the section of Achkhoti-Sno-Akhaltsikhe-Jutha road km12-km16, constant monitoring was underway and a prevention and rehabilitation project was being prepared.

Initial studies and design decisions, which started at the end of 2022, have already been completed. Three damaged and one landslide areas were identified. On July 21 of this year, the construction company was already instructed to carry out pre-construction studies and start the works. The contractor organization carried out preparatory and mobilization works. Construction works will start from next week. Due to the difficult terrain and specifics of the works, movement on the road will be restricted during the works.
