The tender, which is used as a fact confirming the desinformation in the story, was announced by the Department of Roads of Georgia for the expansion of the exit road to Tbilisi. This is the section from Tbilisi exit to Natakhtri.

More precisely, the tender has been announced for the preparation of the feasibility study and project for the modernization-construction of the 11-km section of the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze (km 17-km 28, Tbilisi-Natakhtari) international road.

It should also be noted that the Tbilisi-Natakhtari section is a part of the East-West high-speed road (E60), that is, the European international road, and is not a connecting road with Russia, as the authors of the story claim.

The goal of the project is to increase the capacity of the entrance road to Tbilisi and improve the quality of road safety.

The information on the tender is public and available, from which it is clear which road and for what kind of works the tender is announced. In addition, the Roads Department disseminated the information immediately after the tender was announced.

Therefore, since receiving or processing this information does not represent any difficulty, and the journalist did not even try to verify it with the competent agency, the story is deliberately built on desinfotmation and serves only to mislead the population and the interests of specific political parties.
