The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is actively carrying out periodical repair works of the 7-km section (km 84 - km 90) of the Zahesi-Mtskheta-Kavtishkevi-Gori-Skra-Kareli-Osiauri road passing through the city of Kareli.

Periodic repair works include: renewal of asphalt pavement, fences, and iron-concrete pipes; arrangement of cuvettes; Also, asphalting of connections to local roads and entrances to residents' yard, arrangement of road signs and horizontal marking of the road are planned.

The project is financed from the state budget and its cost is 3 mln. lari.
