The floods caused by a natural flood of the Rioni River, on the first section of the Samtredia-Grigoleti road, damaged the 8th bridge under construction on the river. No one was injured in the accident.

Representatives of all technical services of the Roads Department are on the scene. At this point, the water level of the Rioni River is still high and as soon as the water level is lowered, the current situation will begin and take appropriate measures to restore the damaged bush in the shortest possible time.

The construction of the first 11.5 km section of Samtredia-Grigoleti is at the final stage, which will pass the city of Samtredia and 4 villages of Samtredia and Abasha municipality (Toles, Gormalgha, May 1). The works are funded by GEL 73 million from the state budget.
