Due to the heavy snowfall and the danger of avalanches, the traffic of all kinds of vehicle traffic is restricted on the section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdil  (Disi-Lakhmula) secondary road

The traffic of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the sections of km 30-km 90 (Jvari-Diz) and km 100-km 186 (Lakhmula-Ushguli) of the same road. Meanwhile, the movement of light vehicles is allowed using anti-slip chains. The movement of high-speed vehicles (with two or more driving bridges) is free.

It is free to move on the 1-km 30 (Zugdidi-Jvari) section of the road.
