The construction works of the second section of the Zemo Osiauri-Chumateleti road, which is part of the E60 East-West expressway, are actively continuing.

Within the framework of the project, the construction of the longest bridge (648 m) in Mali has started.

Construction of a 6.4 km 4-lane road, 11 bridges and 5 tunnels is planned for the mentioned section.

Currently, construction works are underway on 8 bridges and 5 tunnels, of which 6 bridges have already been built.

Through the second section of Zemo Osiauri-Chumateleti, we will bypass Suram, Chumateleti from the north and exit at the Ricoti tunnel. With this section, the Khashuri bypass road will be connected to the Rikoti pass road.

The project is financed by the World Bank and the contractual value of the works is 264,992,488 GEL.
