The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is actively carrying out rehabilitation works on the 2.4 km section of the access road to Didveli Ski Complex, a township of secondary road.

The rehabilitation section passes through the resort zone, the settlement. There are hotels, shops and residential houses near the road. Due to the intensity of traffic during the day hours, the works are carried out at night. At this stage, the foundation of the road and the installation of electric poles are in progress.

According to the project, the drainage system will be adjusted, connections will be made to local roads and entrances, and to ensure traffic organization and safety, the roadway will be marked and road signs will be installed.

The rehabilitation of the access road to the Didveli ski complex in Bakuriani township will significantly improve the road infrastructure in the resort area. Vacationers and local residents will have the opportunity to move in a renewed and comfortable way.

The project is financed with 3.3 million GEL from the state budget. The works will be completed by the end of the year.
