Due to the difficult meteorological conditions, in order to avoid delays in the movement of the roads, the cleaning works were carried out in a continuous mode throughout the night yesterday and are actively continuing even in these minutes. Snow-clearing equipment is mobilized in all directions, technical salt is constantly poured on the roads in order to restore the traffic in the shortest possible time.

At the moment, as a result of intensive cleaning works, all types of traffic are free on the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road.

Due to snow and low temperatures, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers on the km1-km52 section of the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi road is restricted, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the km63-km96, section of the Senaki-Poti-Sarpi international road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Also due to heavy snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the Kobuleti bypass secondary road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow, only off-road traffic is allowed on the km17-km33 section of the Chokhatauri-Bakhmaro road (Buksieti-Chkhakaura). The rest of the traffic is restricted. Traffic is free on km1-km17 (Chokhatauri-Buksieti) section of the road.

Due to the snow, on the km39-km62 (Nakerala Pass) section of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow, on the km39-km62 (Nakerala Pass) section of the Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili secondary road km42-km125 (Tsageri-Mele), trailers, semi-trailers and vehicles with a capacity of more than 30 seats are restricted. The movement of other types of vehicles is allowed using anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free. Traffic is free on km1-km42 (Tskaltubo turn-Tsageri) section of the road.

Due to heavy snow and low temperatures, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the Alpana-Tsageri section of the Alpana-Tsageri secondary road, while the traffic of other types of vehicles is allowed to using anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free.

Due to difficult meteorological conditions (snowstorm and low visibility), all types of traffic is restricted on the km94-km110 (Paravani Pass) section of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda secondary road. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to the heavy snowfall, only off-road traffic is allowed on the km86-km106 section of the Batumi-Akhaltsikhe secondary road. While, the rest of the traffic is restricted.

Due to heavy snowfall, on the km28-km50 Baghdati-Sairme) section of the Kutaisi-Baghdati-Abastumani-Benara secondary road, traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free.

Traffic of trailers, semi-trailers and vehicles with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the km30-km186 (Jvari-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road. On the km138-km186 (Mestia-Ushguli) section, light traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. The movement of off-road vehicles (with two or more driveways) is free. Traffic is free on km1-km30 (Zugdidi-Jvari) section of the road.

The Roads Department urges the population to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.
