According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, after the National Environment Agency removed the threat of an avalanche on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road, the Gudauri up to 99 km section of the road was cleaned.

At the same time, according to the National Environment Agency, there is still an avalanche danger from the 99-km of the mentioned road, after which the intensive cleaning works on the remaining section will start immediately and the traffic on the road will be fully restored.
