The Roads Department is actively continuing the restoration works of the roads damaged due to the natural disaster caused by the heavy rains.

As a result of heavy rains, the Kutaisi (Tskaltubo turn) -Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili road section near the village of Sakdari was flooded by a swollen river, damaging the bridge and the road, where all traffic was banned since yesterday morning. To repair the damaged road infrastructure, the employees of the Roads Department, with the help of heavy equipment, are carrying out active cleaning works to eliminate the damage caused by the disaster. Cleaning and restoration works are underway both on the land valley and in the riverbed. 

By this time the road is already passable and the traffic will be fully restored in the shortest possible time.
