According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, an International multinational military exercise organized by the Ministry of Defence of Georgia is in progress. The exercise takes place at II Infantry Brigade in Senaki, while the field training at Orpolo Military Polygon in Akhaltsikhe Municipality. During the training, a marathon is planned to be held in the abovementioned locations and the closure of the road is necessary. 

On August 4, 2021, from 9:00 to 10-15 minutes, traffic is restricted for all types of vehicles at the km1-km5 section (Akhaltsikhe- Minadze village) of Akhaltsikhe-Ninostminda international road and at the km75-km76 section (Akhaltsikhe) of Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale (The border of the Turkish Republic) international road.
