Roads Department, under the Government Order is conducting rehabilitation of secondary roads in the city of Poti. Rehabilitation of two streets, i.e. Rekvava and Akaki streets has already been completed. The total length of the mentioned streets was 2.2 km and the total cost was GEL 3.2 MM.

Currently, rehabilitation works are actively ongoing at two streets. The streets under rehabilitation are: St. George 1.5km street, worth GEL 1.6 mln and 3.5km Chavchavadze street, with the budget around GEL 2.9 mln. The completion of the mentioned streets are scheduled for summer of the current year.

Rehabilitation works in the city of Poti will ensure complete upgrade of the road infrastructure and drainage systems. The project envisages asphalt-concrete pavement, rehabilitation of artificial structures, arrangement of water pipes, curbs, sidewalks and road signs.
