According to the National Environmental Agency, due to heavy snowfall and low temperature, avalanche hazards risk is high on Gudauri (Posta) – Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road. Consequently, traffic on the mentioned section is restricted for all means of transport.

Due to heavy snow and glaze ice, traffic at Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi secondary road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other vehicles.

Due to adverse weather, traffic at km125-km157 (Mele-Lasdili) section of Kutaisi (Tskaltubo turn)-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili secondary road is restricted for all transport means. Traffic at km89-km125 (Lentekhi-Mele) of the mentioned road is  forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats, while movement for other vehicles is free.

Traffic is free at km1-km89 (Tskaltubo turn-Lentekhi) section of the mentioned road.

Due to heavy snow, traffic at km39-km60 (Nakerala pass) section of Kutaisi (Motsameta)-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the traffic is free for other vehicles. Traffic is free at the remaining sections of the road.

Due to adverse weather, traffic at km187-km198 (Ushguli-Lasdili) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is restricted for all types of transport.

Due to snow and glaze ice, traffic at km100-km187 (Lakhamula-Ushguli) section is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats, while movement for other vehicles is allowed only with application of anti-skid chains.  Traffic is free for vehicles with 2 or more driving axles.

Traffic at km1-km100 (Zugdidi-Lakhamula) section is free.
