According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to heavy snow and glaze ice, traffic at km1- km36.5 section of Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi (border of the Republic of Turkey) international road is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats, while movement for other vehicles is free.
