According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and National Environmental Agency (till further change of weather conditions), avalanche hazards risk has been reduced and traffic resumption at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road is recommended.

Due to snow and glaze-ice traffic at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers. Movement is free for the remaining means of transport.

Based on information of the National Environmental Agency, traffic on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section will be carried out in non-stop mode only passing through the avalanche protective tunnels.

Traffic is free on remaining sections of the road.
