Roads Department of Georgia carries out period repair works throughout Georgia to restore asphalt-concrete pavement on separate damaged road sections.
Currently works are progressing at km2 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road, at km126 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road, at km4 of (Nakhshirghele interchange)-Kutaisi-Samtredia road, namely at Akhalgazrdoba and Chavchavadze avenues, at 19 km long section of Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti road, at km13 of Senaki-Poti-Sarpi road, at km6 of Bonja-Sataplia road, at km4 of Salkhino-Dadiani palace access road, at km13 of Abasha-Martvili road, at km3 of Zugdidi-Narazeni-Dzveli Khibula- Akhali Khibula- Zubi road, at km 18 of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda- Border of the Republic of Armenia and at km11 of Borjomi-Bakuriani-Akhalkalaki road.
Works will also start at km24 of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road, at km2 of Kashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale road, at km8 of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road and at km6 of Ponichala-Marneuli-Guguti road within the current week.
Damaged road pavement will be restored and speed bumps, concrete parapets, directional posts and road signs will be arranged within the scope of periodic maintenance works. In addition, horizontal marking of upgraded carriageway will be provided and drainage system located along the road will be improved.
