Coordination meeting with development partners, organized by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is ongoing at Grand Tbilisi Metechi Palace hotel. Together with the representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the reps of development partners and financial organizations: the World Bank, EIB, JICA, EBRD, ADB, UNDP, and GIZ are attending the meeting.

The aim of the event is to provide financial organizations with the activities of the Department, to introduce plans and to deepen cooperation in terms of funding and sharing of experience.

At the coordination meeting, the invited guests will be presented to the following topics: activity report of 2018-2019 of Roads Department of Georgia, challenges and capacity building, ITS, tolling, passportization, implementation of standards for road maintenance, OPRC analysis, legislation and standards related issues,  establishment of a single standard of resettlement and bank protection measures for the Black Sea coastline.

The meeting with development partners will last until the end of the day.
