Arrangement works of a temporary bridge connecting Ledzadzame and Kvauti with each other are started in Senaki municipality. This time, arrangement works of piers and graveling works of an access road to the temporary bridge are ongoing.

We would like to remind you that the flooded river Tekhuri destroyed the Ledzadzame-Kvauti road bridge due to water stream caused by heavy rainfall on August 10 and up to 80 families were isolated from the outside world. 

Roads Department involved in disaster liquidation works from the moment of disaster and  fully mobilized equipment.

At this stage, arrangement works of piers for the temporary bridge are underway. Today, a construction of the temporary bridge will be transported and, after which, the bridge will be installed.

 “Roads Department will carry out restoration of the bridge in the shortest possible time and population will have possibility to use an upgraded bridge”, - declared Deputy Chairman of Roads Department Koba Gabunia, which coordinates disaster liquidations works in the region.
