Based on information of Roads Department, as a result of intensive cleaning works traffic resumed for trailers at Gudauri-Kobi and Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi road sections and traffic is free for all modes of transport at km1-km106 of Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi road  and at Gudauri-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road.

Movement at Gudauri (Posta) - Kobi section  is allowed uninterruptedly through avalanche protection tunnels. One-way traffic is allowed for buses with more than 30 seats in tunnels.Traffic on the same road at km134-km135 (Dariali valley) is prohibited to stop transport. Mentioned traffic regime will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of Patrol Police.

Due to clear ice and intense snow special restrictions are established on different sections of the roads:

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (snow-storm and limited visibility), traffic at km110-km146 (Rodionovka-Ninotsminda) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road and at km90-km112 (Ninotsminda-Armenian border) section of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road is permitted  by application of antiskid chains for trailers and semi-trailers. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Based on information of Roads Department, due to intensive snow , traffic at km35-km72 section (Nakerala Pass) of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic is free for other mode of transport. Traffic is free at other sections of the road.

In view of created circumstances, Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia urges population to use winter tyres, technically acceptable vehicles and follow traffic restrictions established on roads.
