First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Chairman of Roads Department Irakli Karseladze met with representatives of the company Todini, together with engineer of the supervisory company.

The company Todini carries out construction of Argveta interchange existing at the 3^rd section of Samtredia-Grigoleti and Zestaponi-Kutaisi section. Works have fallen behind schedule, therefore, the company received a strict warning.

In the near future, the company shall submit a plan-schedule addressing current problems and how it intends to complete the project within the dates specified in the agreement.

According to the supervisor’s recommendation, in order to avoid similar problems during implementation of works, the company shall increase equipment and the number of employees on construction sites. In case of unresolved problems, sanctions specified in the agreement will be imposed against the company.

 “Our team enhances monitoring of projects’ progress, therefore, we shall receive works done with highest quality within the dates specified in the agreement” – Irakli Karseladze said.
