• 16.08.2011 GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE   Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia intends using the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (“the Bank”) for the rehabilitation of the Mestia – Ushguli road. The proposed project, which has a total estimated cost of GEL 50 (fifty) million equivalent, will require the procurement of the following goods, works and services:   The civil works associated with the rehabilitation of a 47km road between Mestia and Ushguli in Samegrelo and Upper Svaneti region of Georgia; Consultancy assistance for the supervision of civil works.   Tendering for the above contracts is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2011.

• 20.05.2011 Invitation for Prequalification (IFP) [20 May] Georgia Loan Agreement No.GRG-P2, East-West Highway Improvement Project Contract No. EWHIP/CW/ICB-02   1. Georgia has received a Loan from Japan International Cooperation Agency toward the cost of the East-West Highway Improvement Project on December 16, 2009. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this Loan will be applied to eligible payments for which this Invitation for Prequalification is issued. 2. The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of  Georgia (hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”) intends to prequalify contractors and/or firms for the Construction of the two (2) lane highway at Kutaisi Bypass-Samtredia of approximately 26km length as part of the construction of Zastafoni – Kutaisi – Samtredia road section of the E-60 highway. 3. It is expected that Invitation for Bids will be made in July 2011.

• 05.04.11 Invitation for Bids (IFB)  FEWHIP AF/SI/ICB-01  Georgia  First East West Highway Improvement Project – Additional Financing  Supply and Installation of Road and Bridge Management System Loan Number: 7804-GE    1. The initial bidding which was published 05 January 2011 failed. This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online on  08 November 2006.  2. Georgia has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the First East West Highway Improvement Project– Additional Financing and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments to payments under the agreement resulting from this IFB:  FEWHIP AF/SI/ICB-01

Kazbegi avenue #12, Tbilisi) announces bidding for the procurement of services related to preparation of design and bidding documentation for roads’ rehabilitation and if necessary, provision of author’s supervisionover the certain projects and invites all the interested legal or/and physical entities for participation.      Estimated cost of the services to be provided amounts to 2,500,000 GEL (2.5% of construction/installation works in the amount of  100 million GEL).

• 16.11.10 Kakheti Regional Roads Improvement Project Credit N:7802 -GE Georgia has received financing from the World Bank towards the costs of the Kakheti Regional Roads Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, and related services and consulting services to be procured under this project which will be jointly financed by the Government of Georgia.

Kazbegi avenue #12, Tbilisi) announces bidding for the procurement of services related to preparation of design and bidding documentation for rehabilitation of structures (which are not included in the roads rehabilitation project) existing along the road and for the works aimed at liquidation and prevention of natural disaster affecting the roads and structures, and if necessary, provide author’s supervision over the certain projects and invites all the interested legal or/and physical entities for participation. 2. Estimated cost of the services to be provided amounts to 630,000 GEL (2.1% of construction/installation works in the amount of 30 million GEL).
