Rehabilitation of Rikoti Tunnel located at km 143 of E-60 Highway
1. Prequalification notice follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business Online and DG Market on 8-th of November 2006.
2. Georgia has applied for Additional Financing of First East West Highway Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments for Rikoti Tunnel rehabilitation. Contract No: FEWHIP AF/CW/ICB-01
3. Prequalification will be conducted through the prequalification procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines:: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
4. A Prequalification conference will not be carried out.
5. Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information and inspect prequalification documentation at RDMRDI (Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia) from 10:00 to 18:00 hours (Monday to Friday). A complete set of pre-qualification document in English and Georgian languages may be purchased by interested applicants upon (a) the submission of written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of 200 Georgian Lari or equivalent in USD/EUR. The method of payment will be by the direct deposit to the following account:
