20.08.09Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Request for Expression of Interest GEORGIA
Georgia has applied for financing from the World Bank towards the costs of the Third East West Highway Improvement Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, and related services and consulting services to be procured under this project which will be jointly financed by the Government of Georgia. The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (RDMRDI) now invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing the following services: “Supervision of construction works for Sveneti-Ruisi section (km80-km95) of E-60 Highway” and supervision of rehabilitation of Rikoti tunnel. Interested companies shall provide information demonstrating that they are experienced enough to perform supervision of construction works and CVs of the personnel, who will supposedly be involved in supervision process and have relevant qualification and experience. Consultants may form sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. Expression of interest should cover, but not limited to: Experience relevant to the project activities, key staff resources and qualification, corporate profile. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in “Quality and Cost-based Selection” section II of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (May 2004 edition).
