Adjara Bypass Roads Development Project
Georgia is applying for a credit from the Asian Development Bank for preparing the Adjara Bypass Roads Development Project. Certain parts of this credit will be applied for preparation of detailed design and construction project, also bidding documentation for approximately 48 km of following road segments: Kobuleti bypass, Kobuleti-Batumi section and Batumi bypass.
Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (project executing agency) invites consulting companies to express their interest in providing the above-mentioned services. Interested companies shall provide information demonstrating that they are experienced enough to perform detailed design, with their most relevant projects, as well as CVs of the personnel, who will supposedly be involved in detailed design process and have relevant qualification and experience in the field. Information should be presented in printed materials. Consultants may form sub-consultancy to enhance their qualifications. Company brochure may be included as an Annex. Expression of interest should cover, but not limited to: Experience relevant to the project activities, key staff resources and qualification, corporate profile.
On the basis of the EOI a short-list will be established and consultants will be requested to submit technical and financial proposals. It is anticipated that the project will start in early August 2009, and must be completed by May 2010
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in section II, paragraph 2.2 of the Asian Development bank’s Guidelines on the use of Consultants by Asian Development Bank and Its Borrowers. (February 2007 edition), using “Quality and Cost-based Selection” method.
Interested consultants may obtain further information from Monday to Friday at the address below during office hours from 10:00AM to 5:00PM. Expressions of Interest must be delivered to the address below on or before 17:00 Hours local time on 22 May 2009.
