- Georgia has applied for a credit from the World Bank toward the cost of the Second East West Highway Improvement Project - Additional Financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds to eligible payments for “Remaining construction and repairing works for Main Road Section, environmental Remediation Measures, construction of access roads, local roads, ramps for Interchanges, slope stabilization and conducting necessary additional road safety measures on Igoeti-Sveneti Section of E-60 Highway Km 55 – km 80”.
- The project implementing agency, the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia now invites eligible bidders to submit their bids in sealed envelopes for execution of above mentioned works. Implementation period for execution of construction works is 180 Days.
- Procurement of works will be conducted through the procedures of International Competitive Bidding as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
