Clarification
Corrections have been made to the Specific Procurement Notices published by Roads Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia on December 8 and 10, 2008 in local newspaper “24 Hours” (#274 and #276) related to the procurement of below listed works:
1. Remaining rehabilitation works of international Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road km18(0.350) – km39 section
Clause 3 should be set forth as follows:
3. Interested bidders may obtain Bidding Documentation (in Georgian language) upon payment a tender fee in the amount of 200 GEL (requisites: United Treasury account, Account # 200122900, Beneficiary Bank: State Treasury, Bank code: 220101222, Budget income treasury code: 302005000, tender fee for the Roads Department). Interested legal or/and physical entities may inspect the Bidding Documentation at the client’s office before tender fee is paid. Bidding Documentation may be obtained as well as inspected from December 8, 2008 to January 19, 2009 during working days and hours at the following address: Roads Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia, State Procurement Division, 4th floor.
First paragraph of clause 4 should be set forth as follows:
4. Bidders should submit the qualification data and Bids in Georgian language, in two copies, one original and one copy sealed in separate packages on January 20, 2009 from 9:00 to 18:00 and on January 21, 2009 from 9:00 to 12:00 to the following address: 12 Al. Kazbegi avenue, Tbilisi, Roads Department of the Ministry of Economic Development of Georgia, Common unit, ground floor.
5.1.1. and 5.1.2. sub-clauses of clause 5 should be set forth as follows:
5.1.1. For legal entities:
a) Report from the Entrepreneurs register;
b) Power of attorney of signature, in case the person in charge is not authorized to sign;
c) Statement of the Tax Service about indebtedness.
5.1.2. For individuals:
a) Statement of authorized, licensed Medical Institution as an evidence that individual is not under partial or total disability;
b) Statement of the Tax Service about indebtedness.
In clause 5 the following wording should be added after the second paragraph of item (c) of sub-clause 5.1.3:
Bidders should submit copies of the documents certifying completion of the works of similar character, complexity and content as those provided under the tender (works completion report, and/or acceptance-submission report for the implemented works, and/or certification of works completion issued by the client). This requirement does not apply to the works ordered by Roads Department of Georgia.
1. Rehabilitation works of international Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale road (Turkish border) km1 – km10 section.
2. Rehabilitation works of international Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road km231(0.693) – km234(0.18) section.
3. Rehabilitation works of the bridge over river Rioni, located at km32 of international Senaki-Poti-Sarpi road.
