As notified by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, traffic movement on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for all type of vehicles due to intense snow and a danger of snow-slide.
Due to snow and clear ice, movement on Aragvispiri-Gudauri(Posta) and Kobi-Larsi sections of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. On Aragvispiri-Mleta and Kobi-Larsi sections traffic is free for other mode of transport, but on Mleta-Gudauri(Posta) section movement is permissible by application of antiskid chains. Movement for tandem-drive vehicles is free.
Traffic movement is free on the other sections of the road.
