As notified by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, danger of snow slide exists on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi and Stepantsminda-Larsi sections of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road, therefore traffic movement is forbidden for all type of vehicles.
Due to intense snow traffic movement is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats on Pasanauri-Gudauri (Posta) and Kobi-Stepantsminda sections of the same road. For other vehicles, movement is permissible by means of antiskid chains. Movement for tandem-drive vehicles is free.
Traffic movement is free on the other sections of the road.
