As notified by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, traffic movement along Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for all type of vehicles from 11:00 till 19:00 due to the danger of snow-slide; within the other period of the day, movement  is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats due to heavy snow, but for other vehicles traffic is free.

Stoppage of vehicles is forbidden along Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section. Vehicles shall move through the tunnels for snow-slide protection. Traffic condition will be under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.

Traffic movement on Stepantsminda-Larsi section is forbidden for all type of vehicles from 12:00 till 18:00 due to danger of snow slide. Within the other period of the day, movement is free. Stoppage of vehicles is forbidden along Stepantsminda-Larsi section. Traffic condition will be under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.

Traffic movement is free on the other sections of the road.
