Due to heavy snow, traffic movement on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats.  As notified by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, traffic movement along Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is forbidden for all type of vehicles from 11:00 till 19:00 due to the danger of snow-slide; within the other period of the day, movement is permissible by means of antiskid chains. Movement for tandem-drive vehicles is free.

Vehicles shall move through the tunnels for snow-slide protection. One way traffic shall be under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.

As notified by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, traffic movement on mentioned road section is forbidden for all type of vehicles from 12:00 till 18:00 due to danger of snow slide, within the other period of the day, movement is free. Stoppage of vehicles is forbidden along Stepantsminda-Larsi section. Traffic condition will be under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.

Traffic movement is free on the other sections of the road.
