Today, on Aug.7, at 3:00 pm, personnel of the Roads Department joined the silent rally being held throughout the whole Georgia named ”Stop for a minute”. At 3 o’clock sharp, RD personnel ceased work for a few minutes and in front of RD administrative building, on A.Kazbegi Ave., commemorated with a minute-silence and a live human chain the soldiers and peaceful citizens sacrificed their lives for the Motherland that were killed in Russian Armed Egression.

Today, at 13:00, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia will attend commencement of the second stage training program - practical course at the quality control laboratory of roads construction materials. Training course “Innovation in road field” started on 29 July of the current year. The mentioned training is provided by “Newcase”.

On 1 August, at 13:00 o’clock, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia and Mr. Levan Varshalomidze, Chairman of Government of Adjara will attend the opening ceremony of the bridge over the River Kubistskali; the bridge is located at 100 km of the International Senaki-Poti-Sarpi road in the right-hand side direction.
